What we believe
Not a religion, a belief
People who ask what religion we are expect a label. We prefer to say who we believe in: Jesus Christ. To follow him is to be Christian, and that is how we recognise ourselves.
Parola della Grazia Milano is an evangelical protestant pentecostal Christian church associated with the Apostolic Church in Italy.

The Bible is the Word of God
It is the inspired Word of God, written by men moved by the Holy Spirit (2 Peter 1:21). We accept it as the infallible guide in all matters of doctrine and practice of faith (1 Thessalonians 2:13; 2 Timothy 3:16).
- 02
God is one and triune
Our God is One, revealed in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit — co-equal in divine nature (Philippians 2:6) yet distinct in role. The Father, the one God of all (Ephesians 4:6); Jesus, the Son and Saviour (John 3:16); the Holy Spirit, who lives in the believer (John 14:16) and gives power (Acts 1:8).
- 03
Humanity and salvation by grace
Human beings are created in God’s image to live eternally (Genesis 1:26), but through Adam’s transgression sin entered humanity (Romans 3:10-23). Salvation is not a prize for a well-lived life nor a reward for good works: it is God’s gift, received after repentance, through personal faith in the work of Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9).
- 04
Baptism into the body of Christ
Salvation takes shape in the supernatural experience of the “new birth”, so named by Jesus himself. It is the passage from a person dead in sin to one set free from its slavery: at that moment one becomes part of the Body of Christ, that is, baptised — immersed — into him (Mark 16:16).
- 05
Baptism in water
It is done in obedience to the Word of God and follows a salvation already received by faith. It produces no spiritual change in itself: it testifies to and symbolises the new birth already experienced (1 Peter 3:21). It is practised by immersion in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19).
- 06
Baptism in the Holy Spirit
It is an experience distinct from and subsequent to the new birth, promised to every believer (Acts 1:4-5; 2:38-39). It clothes with power for witness and opens the way to life in the gifts of the Spirit (Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 12).
- 07
Divine healing
We believe God still heals today — body, soul and relationships. It is not an exception belonging to the past but part of the work Jesus completed, and we keep seeing it happen in our gatherings.

The Church and Christ’s return
The Church is the body of Christ on earth, called to bring the Gospel to every person (Matthew 28:19-20). We await the return of Jesus and the eternal life promised to those who believe in him (John 3:16; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17).
